My dear friends had a baby and now their sweet angel baby Colibri has the coolest room ever!

I painted a mural for them inspired by Hawaiian sunsets and animals from their baby moon trip to Hawaii. I loved incorporating the snowy plovers and these were the first sea turtles I’ve painted, creating a dreamscape for this new life to be immersed in.

Painting nurseries always feels like a deeply meaningful process that I do not take lightly! The parents will be spending so much time in there and the art will be some of the first things the baby sees! I hope Ms Colibri feels warmly welcomed in a vibrant space full of color and love from her amazing parents.
